How is Micah Network funded?

Micah Network's initial funding was sourced from a private trust and from some of its initial members. A private trust has also generously donated funding to meet the International Coordinator's salary for the first two years.

The Micah Network aims to keep costs low, however as the network becomes increasingly active and embarks on more initiatives, funding from member organisations will be required to meet the cost of maintaining the coordination office and major initiatives of the Micah Network.

Membership contributions

Micah Network seeks to meet all of its core costs from member contributions and relies on some external funding to support new initiatives and key projects.

For 2009, the Micah Network Coordinating Group has set the following scale for membership contributions, in recognition of our members’ differing resources and with reference to our 2009 budget.
